Below is an image where my body is looking completely different which was all dependent on the different goals I had set at that time:

The photo on the left I calculated my calories correctly where I was eating 400-500 calories ABOVE my maintenance each day to ensure I was in a calorie SURPLUS. After 9 – 12 months of this i had built my way up to my heaviest weight which was 110kgs.

The photo on the right I calculated my calories correctly to ensure I was consuming 400 – 500 calories BELOW my maintenance to ensure I was in calorie DEFICIT. After 3 – 4 months I had worked my way back down to 100kgs on the scales.

What I did after I calculated my correct calories was I then remained consistent and monitored my progress.

The key here and main message I want to get across to you all is I chose NOT to play the guessing game with my results. I chose to get my numbers right then I just hit them each and every day. For years I played the guessing game and got no where which was the number 1 reason why I would get frustrated. I know what that feels like and I implore you to not do the same.

I feel at times we can so easily confuse and over think things in this game. There are so many different BS fads out there and after walking around at the Arnold Classic Fitness Expo last weekend this became even more apparent. If we aim to keep things simple it’s often this is when the BEST results come.
