Hey TEAM,

Here is my very own transformation which I am exremely proud of. I started out in this game as a skinny 75kg kid at just 16 years old.

I remember how I felt at the time. I absolutely HATED how I looked. I remember trying out for a senior basketball team at the time as I was heavily involved with the sport and I got pushed around due to being so skinny. It really pi#sed me off to be honest I still remember it to this day.

I also vividly remember my first weights session where I walked in and could barely bench press the bar without a single weight on it. I also tried lat raising the 5kg dumb bells and could barely lift them.

I would watch huge guys in the gym and take notes of the workouts and exercises they were doing. I wanted to learn but had no idea what I was doing.

Fast forward to now where at age 32 and after being in this game for 16+ years I couldn’t be happier and more proud of all my hard work and dedication.

I have learnt SOOOOOOO MUCH in this time that I wish I knew back then. It is my job now to pass on all this knowledge I learnt on to others through my love for health and fitness and my true passion in life.

Below are some notes and some of my tips to anyone who is embarking on their fitness journey:

1) You’re going to have slip ups along the way we ALL do, it doesn’t make you a bad person it just makes you HUMAN.

2) You don’t have to be perfect to get results you just need to be CONSISTENT.

3) You’re going to have to work hard.

4) You’re going to have sacrifice some but definitely NOT all of the things you love.

5) If you want results you’re going to have to rid yourself of excuses unfortunately you can’t have both.

6) Remove the words “I CANT” and “I QUIT” they should simply not exist in your vocabulary.

7) Visualize your success, write down your goals and take photos to motivate yourself.

8) Spend time investing in your mind. Not one single person has EVER transformed their body until they have transformed their mind first.

9) There are going to be some tough times sure, but that’s ok it’s the hard that makes it so great.

10) You CAN get results and have a social life regardless of what you hear or read you just have to be a little smart that’s all.

11) You don’t need to restrict yourself from the foods you love.

12) You aren’t going to go anywhere on this journey without adopting some sort of a work ethic.

13) The results make it worth it and your future self is going to thank you for it so keep going and give it all you’ve got.
